RSD is not stopping me I developed RSD/CRPS after a work injury. It requires medicines and trips to doctors but it does not rule my life. Some of my hobbies have had to change but that's ok. I still love camping even though I can't hike anymore. Some of my current hobbies are: travel, reading, cooking, geneaology. I owned,trained & showed horses for almost 50 years. I currently have 1 dog. My last cat died from old age last yr. You can tell I love animals.
I enjoy fishing and just sitting by a lake,mountain stream or the ocean relaxing. I love to travel, especially to the Smoky Mountains.
I also enjoy spending time at home. Family cookouts & get togethers are great. I have a grown daughter,son-in-law and 2 wonderful grandchildren. I babysit while his parents work so they keep me pretty busy.
I love talking with people that don't let their disability rule their lives. Sure, it's always there, but there is so much more in life to enjoy. Disabled & differently abled people are still wonderful people. Sometimes people act like they can "catch" a disability & I just feel sorry for them. They could be missing out on knowing a wonderful person.
