I have CRPS, Narcolepsy, Fibromyalgia & Arthritis CRPS is Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder. The sympathetic nerve system sends misfired pain signals to parts of the body that is far greater than the event that triggered the pain, such as a bump of the hand on a desk will trigger seeing stars pain. I dev this is 1998 when a woman drove thru a stop sign and totalled my car. Took 2 yrs to get a dx and the pain is so excrrciating that I have a morphine pump implanted in me.
In 1996 I was dx with Fibromyalgia, a condition that makes your body hurt from head to toe.
In 05, I was dx with Narcolepsy, teh sleeping disease. I have to take amphetamines to keep from falling asleep at the wheel or in restaurants and so forth. I also take opiods for my pain on top of the pump. The stimulants send me up thruout the day and then I come down and take the bulk of my sedating meds. Viscious cycle.
Was dx w Arthritis in my feet, knees and hands in April 2011.
