Walking Stick affectionado After an accident as a boy I've had to deal with a degenerative joint problem in my lower leg and the ensuing hip and back problems that accompany it. It's gotten really bad over the past decade and when paired with agoraphobia has caused even more health problems in being house bound and not being able to move about as much as I should be able to otherwise. Doctors never understand, folks always seem to stare, even family at times seems to doubt you unless you're leaving a trail of blood everywhere you go, as pain is such a nebulous concept. Sometimes it's hard to get by on your own.
