I am a widow of 8 years and would like to meet someone to share life with, who LOVES animals. I'm not the beautiful woman I once was, but I still "think young" & like to do fun things. I am a retired teacher of 27 years. My interests are numerous and I'm always open to new ones. I like sports,especially UNC Basketball, the beach, nature, animals, especially dogs, horses & wildlife. I like camping, walks in the woods, or on the beach. I like music from "oldies", soft rock & pop to classical. I like cruising Ocean Blvd. @ Myrtle listening to Elvis music. I like a room at the beach overlooking the ocean to just sit at night & listen to the waves coming in. I like slow dancing. I like playing the organ & drawing, when I have time. I like being involved in a church. I like quiet evenings at home watching TV, in the wintertime, in front of a good fire. I like cookouts, eating out, or just cooking at home; flea markets, ACC Basketball, & traveling. Originally from NC, I now live out in the country in SC & have an animal rescue. I consider myself to be honest, independent, fairly intelligent & sincere. I would like to meet someone with similar qualities.
The man I would like to meet would be trustworthy & at first, we would become good friends; after that, either the spark is there, or it isn't. At worst, we have both made a new friend. I would like to meet a kind-hearted gentle man who cares about others; a man who shares some of my interests, who is emotionally stable, mature & well-educated & who feels comfortable dressed up, or in jeans; a man who enjoys the finer things in life, but also country living and animals; a man who has strong convictions, but also listens to and respects another point of view; one who has a positive outlook on life, loves life and family & has his priorities straight & last, a man who is fun to be with & knows the meaning of love.
I am not the beautiful woman I once was. I am looking for a man who can accept me for who I am.
