my fist memory was looking at a green tile floor and surveyed by both curtains. at age 10 mom said i had a grand mal seizure. turned it it was a brain tumor cause these massive seizures. the tumor was resected as a child then as an adult. i persevered despite my language struggles (from the tumor location) and became a registered nurse. in the to last 4 years a cyst grew in the tumor bed. i had a surgery for that which was not successful. a shunt was placed. my seizures remained uncontrolled including status epilepticus on ventilators. i just had vns placed hoping that will help the seizures and the depression that joins the seizures. i’ve all excited. i have not been able to work for 4 years and am seeking a new career path.
