Polio Survivor I am a 58 year old polio survivor. My life is full but something is missing. Most males my age are afraid when they see my wheelchair. They think I need a caregiver. But nothing could be farther from the truth. I am extremely independent and active. I attend school, studying for a Masters degree, and I do volunteer work in my community as an advocate for neglected and abused children. What I am looking for is a friend first and maybe that friendship could grow into something deeper.
