Smilingdisabled, 63

Well, Ive been disabled for about 13 yrs. I am a friendly kind person, someone with a sense of humor, sometimes, serious. I am a great conversationalist. I dont play games with people and I am not a liar. I have values and morals, I am friendly oriented and I love life and people. I love animals also. I wish people in the world would get along more, rather than hurt each other, sometimes, I dont think people realize how short life can be. I feel everyone is special in their own way and there is beauty in all of us. I consider myself an inspirational person, someone whos a loyal and trustworthy friend, and someone who is looking for a friend first, possibly more after we get to know each other after a while, if it doesnt go further, then friendship is fine too. Sometimes, a friendship is more valueable in itself. It doesnt have to be more. Today, anyone is fortunate enough to find and make a decent, good quality friend. They are hard to come by. I consider myself a good friend, someone, any other friend can count on. In a relationship, Im very loyal and dedicated to my partner, someone who is very patient and understanding and loving. I am an ambitious person, someone motivated and I think intelligent. I am open minded, romantic, passionate. I am a deep person. I feel alot of respect for family, my parents, they are the people, that put us here, and they should have our respect and love. Life is a 1 time trip, its unfortunate that some become disabled in life, like me and many others, I wasnt born disabled, as I mentioned been disabled quite a few years. I feel there is a reason for everything that happens in life. We may not know what that is, but God does. Only he is the being that can know why. I am Catholic, I am spiritual. I believe God helps those also that help themselves. Sometimes, its very hard to, but, if we can find a way to be greatful each day for something and put a smile on our faces, try to, at least to find peace in each day and be able to make it.
