I'm a quiet, deeply introverted person. I focus more on creating contentment and fulfillment in my life.I have been diagnosed with schizotypal personality disorder. The symptoms of this include magical thinking, depression, anxiety and paranoia. I also view the world in a different way, which is hard to explain in a small statement. I also have schizoid traits.I also have CPTSD. As a result, I have some fairly rooted issues around both physical and emotional intimacy. This is a recent realization, and I am taking steps to work through this issue.I tend to need a lot of solitude. This is just my nature. I can manage loud or chaotic situations with the right person, but they require a long recharge afterwards. I do like to spend time at home though, and I would prefer someone who is similar. I'm not much of a talker, but I'm happy to listen. I genuinely enjoy hearing about other peoples' interests and experiences.I enjoy meditation, reading, researching, music, cooking, computers, watching sports and sitting with my cat, just to name a few. I tend to be interested in almost anything.Meditation is the most important priority in my life. I have gone on multiple meditation retreats, and I have traveled as far as Nepal in order to do so. It is something that has brought me a lot of stability and contentment in my life.I prefer quieter activities, but I'm open-minded. I don't mind things like traveling or going outdoors if I'm comfortable with the person. I also would be happy to meet someone who is content to sit in silence and just be.I would like to meet someone in recovery like me and find mutual support. I am looking for a relationship, but it would great if I could meet a friend here who I can trust, and whom I can talk to about everything without judgement.
