PTSD is often misunderstood Complex PTSD is probably the most recently-studied disorder in modern medicine, particularly that from childhood. I understand the challenges and discriminations faced by persons with this and similar types of disabilities, and how they are often mis-labelled and trivialized by persons without them-- and even labelled as "self-inflicted" by the particularly presumptuous and ignorant.
