slow moving I've been diagnosed with ME, hyperparathyroidism and arthritis which leaves me with quite severe mobility problems which I find frustrating. I was used to being active - cycled or walked everywhere. Now I have difficulty walking to my car because of the pain. It gets me down but I try not to let it influence my life too much. I love to garden - it's amazing how much can be done while sitting in a plastic chair.
I joined this site because I'm really the only disabled person I know. I moved here last year and am still settling in and trying to build a life. My family and friends are all at least 2 hours away so I'm pretty isolated.
