The object of art is to give life a shape Not really sure what I'm looking for; just kind of stumbled across this site and thought I'd see who else is out there. Almost 3 years ago I was injured while donating blood. The nerve injury resulted in Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. I can't say that the adjustment's been easy-- I still miss my old life, but I'm adjusting and learning to appreciate life just as it exists today. It's been a hell of a journey, though, and I'd like to meet people who've been through anything similar. I find that people who have had to reevaluate their lives and redefine themselves in this way seem to be more self-aware and sensitive to others, and oftentimes have a more concrete understanding of their values in life.
