I am a 64 year old young at heart amputee who, despite having family and friends, would like to communicate with other amputees or people with mobility problems to share experiences, interests, lifestyle, abilities, etc. with. I was diagnosed with Lupus (S.L.E.)in 1997 and lost my left leg above the knee in 2003 because of it. I have always looked upon my misfortune in a positive way - not only for my own sake but for those around me so rarely speak of it, but there are times I would welcome the experiences and views of other amputees and people with mobility problems. My interests include anything artistic, antiques, nice food, good music, the natural world, animals and life in general.
