not totally blind but impaired I'm legally blind and don't fully fit into the sighted community or the blind one either. I have enough usable vision that most of my family and friends forget I have a disability until I need help reading something.
I use magnification on the computer, have other magnifiers (both portable and not portable), I "read" avidly by listening to books.
