i’m 30 years old & recently became disabled earlier this year. i use a walker for short distances & wheelchair for longer. i’m looking for a long term relationship with the right guy. i love humor, sports, and just about any kind of adventure. my christian faith & family are top priorities in my life. so i’m looking for someone who shares those same values. i consider myself compassionate, insightful, thoughtful, and fun. before my disability i worked at the local county mental health center assisting individuals with mental health struggles attain & maintain employment. because of the my disability; i will probably not be able to return to that job. i’m hoping in the right timing i can find something volunteer or paid in the helping field that my body will allow. possibly leading a support group or something similar. i’m looking for someone who shares the same compassion & care for those who are struggling. going from being completely able bodied to now having mobility issues has been a huge adaption in my life. i choose to be thankful that i’m alive & just do my best to recover in pt. i consider myself to have a positive attitude & look for that in a potential future spouse.
