I have most of my original parts and the ones that I'm missing weren't that important, anyway!If my odometer could talk, it would have quite a tale to tell. Suffice it to say, I have had a wonderful life on the whole. I have a grown daughter and son and I delight in watching the people they've become. I still have my mom and many other loving family members and am on good terms with the man that I divorced three plus years ago after 25 years of marriage
I am a writer and have been published on a regular basis for over 8 years in several local newspapers, magazines and corporate newsletters. I am currently submitting the final material for publication of a local history book
I am a doer, not a sitter....I really enjoy golf (I play badly, but fast), swimming, dancing, art (creating and appreciating) and football (sideline participation only -those replacement parts are too difficult to find.
As long as my wheels keep turning, I'll keep wanting the same 'things' that I wanted before my traveling companion of 14 years, Young Onset Parkinson's Disease, decided to hitch its ride

I consider myself an optimistic realist - there's always hope, there's always something to be grateful for and after that, it's in God's hands (which is where it always was and is, anyway)
