I'm a college educated, widowed mother of two great kids (17 and 19). I am honest and compassionate...sometimes to a fault. I'm upbeat, rarely moody, and always welcome the opportunity for a great laugh.

I'm proud that I had this house built a year after I was widowed and that I have been able to raise by kids on my own in a stable and loving home for the last 16 years. I know when to be the responsible adult, but I have not forgotten how to have fun either (I have been know to "tackle" one of my kids or peg them with a snowball when they least expect it)

I'm very down-to-earth and easy going. I say what I mean, and I mean what I say. I'm usually up to trying new things at least once (within reason, of course!) and have lots of interests myself. I always tell people that I'm as comfortable in my jeans and tee's as I am in a dress and heels.

I'm hoping that maybe all the good guys aren't already taken, and maybe even show me that chivalry isn't dead.
