My disability isn't a clearly visible one, so it's hard for others to understand. My mood is generally upbeat and outgoing, and when it isn't, I isolate. Due to the loss of my elderly parents, then the pandemic, I am struggling to interact with the world. This level of loneliness is new for me and I sure don't like it. My personality is outgoing but I'm not interested in heavy socializing. My energy level can be fragile so I prefer making plans and hoping for the best. Mutual respect for each others self-knowledge is important to me.Well-educated and former consumer research analyst, i enjoy conversations about a wide variety of topics. I read a lot of mystery novels, self-dev books, bios, Home Depot ads, you name it. Divorced more than 16 years ago, no children except for my cats -- but I'm not a crazy cat lady, I promise. At this point in my life, I'd like to know that someone cares about me, and I want someone that I can care about.I am a liberal, which means I have a good sense of humor ... but not open-minded enough to deal with conservatives, Trumpers, and anti-vaxxers.
