I lost my fiancee a few years back & my mother a few years after that. My fiancee was disabled in his last years and I have many disabled friends. I seem to relate better to those who have in some way struggled, having always found them more genuine and sincere. The last few years have been hard but I've made it through with the help of my friends as I have little family left.
I'm at a bit of a crossroads now in many areas of life and am looking for a deep friendship with a strong emotional connection that may lead to more.
I strongly value intelligence and appreciate someone with good communication skills. My interests include: cats, music, internet, writing, psychology, and some others.
