I am recently divorced due to my illnesses and now I have a hard time going anywhere, so I have no way to meet anyone. I didn't just lose a husband. He was my best friend and confidant as well. I am ready to start another chapter of my life and that requires having someone to talk to besides just my family. I am really not sure what I am looking for right now, I just know I want to find someone that understands.
I have a variety of conditions that complicate each other. I have Lupus Anti-phospholipid Syndrome and have had 17 DVT's & 2 PE's. In addition, I have pseudotumor cerebri that only flares up now & then but usually no hospitalization. I have a failed back & neck surgery that cause a lot of pain. I also have fybromyalgia. Luckily the docs finally put in an intrathecal dilaudid pump which cuts down the oral medicine received and eliminates most of the side effects from dilaudid. I have gone through almost 15 years of people doubting whether or not I was really sick. Even when docs would give me a diagnosis it was ignored by my family. It's like they actually thought that I could make it all go away if I really wanted to. I am just looking for someone who can relate to anything I am saying. My life has become rather solitary and I am ready to change that.
