Alone again

Alone again I'm just an old hippie in a wheelchair who lives alone on six acres in the country. I have FSHD, a form of muscular dystrophy, and have been using a powered chair for about two years now. It's been really nice having a legitimate excuse to sit on my butt all day! Unfortunately the downside is that most able bodied women aren't searching for guys in wheelchairs. Also, since I am not working now, and don't do church or bars, I have limited oppurtunities to meet women. So here I am.
Actually I have decided to never again persue a relationship with women who are not seriously disabled. It just doesn't seem to work out.
And I'm not so sure this site will work out either. Seems there sren't many members, but since I haven't had luck finding a disabled site that is overflowing with members, I thought I'd register. Maybe if I register at several of these sites...
Anyway, I am hoping to find someone to become close friends with, talk to everyday, share troubles and good times with; someone whom I can talk to about anything. I have been alone now for well over three years, and I would really like to find someone.
