What doesn't kill us makes us stronger. To sound generic, I love a good laugh, a good book or movie, to romp on the floor with my dog, or a game of cards with family and friends. I enjoy concerts and music (rock mostly). I have three adult children that I don't see often enough.
I live in a small town in Indiana, where I find it difficult to meet people who truly understand the difficulties related to being disabled (with epilepsy). Most seem to act as though it's contagious or at least don't want to be around when the "action" starts. I have a major seizure every month or two and several petite or nocturnal seizures monthly.
I've maintained a good sense of humor through it all and don't feel sorry for myself.
I'd love to find a friend that I can share experiences and interests with in hopes of someday sharing a life together.
