I am recently widowed and the house gets mighty quiet except for my dogs. My late wife had Progressive MS and it had robbed her of her body to the point she was a quad. I never thought at the time I would miss being called upon to do everything for her, but, I miss doing things for her.
My health is not that good either due to neuropathy and lymphedema in both legs. I keep the lymphedema under control for the most part and I walk without a great deal of pain unless I over do it and walk to much. Once I over do the walking, I can stay off my feet and legs a few days and I'm ready to go again. I just can't climb these mountains like I use to. I really miss going ginseng hunting and just roaming in the mountains that I love so much.
