I wasa Firefighter/Paramedic before I was in an auto accident several years ago, where I received some serious head and neck injuries.I am not paralyzed,but because of the spinal cord injury I can only walk short distances with a walker, but I use a wheelchair most of the time.My speech is a little slurred, also because of my injury.
