I am a former model. The only reason I speak of this is because I don't own a camera so I can't send a picture. My music likes go from Metallica to Mozart and from Prince to Pavarotti. I watch my DVD's and when I mean my DVD's we are talking about 800 so far.
When I was 13 and started with my medical stuff, my dad got me involved into my love of entertainment. He bought me my first movie on tape and it was Mel Brook's classic "Blazzing Saddles" and it made me laugh so hard. He also bought me the book "Anatomy of An Illness" by Norman Cousins. It was about dealing with pain through humor.
My passion in life as alway been working with children. In fact, I got my degree in Threpeutic Recreation. I have worked as a Child Counselor and also have run a Boys and Girls Club of America. I really believe children are the one of the greatest gifts in life. Motivational speaking has also been a love as well. I have spoken to kids about what it is like to be in a wheelchair and an amputee. I swear elementary school kids ask the strangest and sweetest questions. Adults could really take a cue from their kids.
I am looking for a woman who doesn't play emotional games. I know that should be a given, but the last woman I me told me right off the bat that she loved to play mind games. I couldn't believe my ears. I would like to meet someone who wants to take things slowly. My heart and mind are both open to meeting the right one for me.
I am very old-fashioned. For instance, opening the door for a lady. I am also looking for someone who likes to snuggle and hug under the covers. I am not looking for a quick role in the hay so to speak. I hope to meet someone with the same common interests. Looking forward to meeting you.
