Hello out there. This is my first time using the internet to meet someone so if I sound a little tepid bear with me. 15 tears ago I was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's Disease. Back then I was a test pilot for Rockwell International. I had the privilege of testing and evaluating B-1 Bombers under a contract with the U.S Air Force. Not only did it pay good money it was fun as hell flying on the edge of your seat 150 feet off the ground at Mach 1.25 which is just a little over 900 MPH! When I started to have a resting tremor in my hand there was no way I was going to take a chance piloting a supersonic bomber. So I went to the company flight surgeon figuring it was a stress related issue. After a referral to a neurologist and a battery of tests they came back with a positive diagnosis of early onset Parkinson's Disease. It meant the two words pilots fear the most...Permanently Grounded. If that was not enough to add insult to injury the results were forwarded to the DMV and my drivers license was revoked. My wife then divorced me on grounds of incompatibility taking my girls with her to her parents who are 750 miles away from me. But my girls call me every night to see if Daddy is OK. They are my life and at least my ex-wife has no issue with them staying in contact with me. My oldest turns 18 next year and will be going to college and wants me to live close to her in Charlotte, NC. I have mixed feelings about that because she needs to focus on her studies not me. Lately good fortune has come my way. I live in an assisted care facility that is exclusive only to neurological and physically disabled clients. I have now reached a point in my life where I would like to have a lady in my life for friendship then possibly something more over time.
