odeen My work plays an important role in my life - a busy one to be sure. And since I start writing text books, my free time is even more limited. Family is very important too. I like long vacations in south of France with no mobiles and internet. As a student I worked in an orthopedic hospital and learned the needs and problems of disabled people. For several years I also did a research in different genetic disorders (muscular dystrophies, tropical tocsins). Love to teach natural sciences to kids. Trying to avoid crowded and noisy places. Prefer to spend the weekend in the nature, or in a museum, and the evenings in the theater or in front of my telescope. Bars are not my preferred place, though every now and again a wild night with old university friends is fine.

As a child I had also health problems. After two operations I was "fixed", but the doctors did not operate my memories.
