I'm 61, and would like to enjoy my retirement with someone that shares quite a few (but not all!)of the same interests that I do. I say that not out of arrogance, but because I think the more we have in common, the less time spent arguing!
Now for my interests: I've been to all 50 states, so 'travel'. I exercise six days a week (for the past 25 years!), so 'health and fitness'. I'm funny (How's your bladder?, I'm somewhat intelligent(I was a teacher for twenty years, and I couldn't have faked it all that time if I wasn't!). I like to cook, listen to music (My favorite is Oldies).....I've even been known to discard the walker that I use (a result of a car accident 43 years ago!)and dance away in my partners arms!, watch TV and movies (sitcoms, sports, dramas, romantic comedies, nonfiction, I also have a spiritual side. That can mean different things to different people, but what it is for me is that I love the Lord very much, BUT have a BIG problem with organized religion! I feel somewhat qualified to say that, having been a Bible School Teacher, Church Camp Counselor, Vacation Bible School Teacher, and associate Youth Pastor at various times in the Catholic, Methodist, and Baptist churches. I'm really getting tired of talking about me, so please don't hesitate to ask me anything. Oh yeah....I'd like to meet someone fairly close to my age. I hope to hear from you soon. If nothing else, you could get a free dinner out of this!
