MS Iam a 44 yr old guy, formerly a sheetmetalworker, with MS, recently wheelchairbound, hoping to be using crutches again, though it is easier to "roll around", looking to gain independence in life. I am looking for a relationship, friendship first, with a woman, either disabled or "disabled friendly", in the NE or anywhere really, who loves animals, and is willing to accept me for the person I am. I like to work on classic cars, I own two 1970 Chevelles. I played and taught guitar for years, would like to teach again, and recently played in a local nightclub, invited by a former student who knew from my abilities years ago that my "bad" day, looking at my hands like they were someone else's fingers, is probably better than most guitarist's "good" days and my performance proved that he was probably right. I have two children, a daughter, 20 and son, 15, that are amazing students. Being on a disability pension and SS, I am not 'bound' to any geographical area and would like to buy a home that will aid in my ability to be more independent. I would like to make contact with someone by e-mail or phone, and see where things go from there. I enjoy many types of music, will soon see Carole King and James Taylor at Madison Square Garden. I live on Staten Island now, one of NYC's five boroughs, where I grew up and spent most of my life. I lived in PA for 16 years but have recently relocated. I have tremendous respect for women, my father died when I was 12 and I have 3 sisters and my mother all living in the NYC area.
