Invisible Disabilities
Invisible Disabilities Are you the kind of person that looks perfectly healthy to the naked eye? Someone that people don't realize or believe has anything wrong with them. Maybe someone that friends get annoyed with for cancelling plans last minute, because they don't understand the degree of your health issues.

I am that person. I've tried dating sites, and even staying in touch with friends from school. Sometimes it's hard to find people that can understand and accept that just because you're visibly disabled doesn't mean your health issues are not valid.

When I get too sick sometimes I can't get out, it's hard to keep a job because of this and I'd like to make friends who don't take it personally if I can't make it on a day that we have plans. I'd like to reach out to other people that have the same problem. Maybe on a day that we can't get together we can chat online or over the phone instead.

I'm not looking to drown anyone in sympathy and I'm not looking for attention, myself. I just want to meet people who aren't going to take it personally if my health issues flair up when we have plans. I want others out there like me to know that someone else gets it.
