Fibromyalgia (FMS), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) I have FMS and CFS along with chemical sensitivity, allergies. Perfume, air fresheners, cleaning solvents, etc are like poison for me.

I don't look sick and my condition does not typically make a problem for anyone besides me. Despite the description I give of myself, generally no one knows there is anything wrong with me unless I tell them. I don't use any kind of medication.

My condition varies from day to day and hour to hour. Sometimes I am tired, sometimes I have pain. Depending on if it's a good day or a bad day I might be running late for appointments, I might be the life of the party or I might not have much energy, depending upon the activity my muscles may fatigue or become painful.

While my life may be challenging, I persevere. If you told people I work with that I have a debilitating illness they would laugh at you and tell you that you are crazy. I am well known and respected in my field of work. I like to walk for exercise and enjoy walking 2 or 3 miles a day. I also swim when I have acccess to water. I am in better physical condition than most people. I am a caring, compassionate person. I am honest, nurturing, sensitive, loving and affectionate. I like touching my partner, caressing, sitting side by side on the couch. In my free time I like science, archeology, history, nature, photograghy, gardening, a little bit of people watching, a shady spot on the beach, experimenting with exotic foods, traveling, snorkeling. I am not addicted to television but when I watch I like movies (comedy, action, sci fi) History Channel, Discovery Channel, storm stories on the Weather Channel, National Geographic.

I work part time. I do not need financial assistance from anyone however I have to be careful how I spend the money I have. I don't need to be rescued but I don't have the ability to rescue anyone else.

I am hoping to find a long term, loving, monogamous relationship but might consider something else.
