I'm new to this site and the whole dating site thing in general but figure wth..might as well give it a shot. I was in a hunting accident just before my 18th birthday and was shot in the back with a rifle which left me paralyzed. My injury is fairly high up at the t2 vertebrae. I've struggled on and off with depression, especially after losing a close friend just as I was starting to recover emotionally from my accident. I'm sort of a loner and I prefer having a few close friends rather than many "associates". I'm a bit of a nerd..I love sci-fi and fantasy like star wars and the Lord of the rings. I believe that books are always better than their movie adaptations. I'm a bit of a hard core gamer. I like having deep intellectual conversation instead of meaningless chitchat. My idea of the perfect girl would be someone who's a nerdy, intelligent, open minded.. a girl who appreciates corny jokes and puns lol.
I don't work but I have started taking free course to learn how to write code and eventually program software because full time gamer isn't a paying gig AND because I want to do more in life than is possible living off of my disability checks. I love the ocean and would like to visit it again someday and maybe even travel to Europe or Australia.
I haven't done much dating since becoming paralyzed because for a long time it just seemed like too much but I'm tired of being alone..I think just chatting and becoming friends with the possibility of becoming more is the best way to describe what I'm looking for right now
