former marine. then a lot of knocking around, enjoying youth and being stupid. decided to grow up; became a nurse and worked as such for almost 15 years. 6', salt and pepper hair, blue eyes, long beard (think zz top). love to read, history geek, science nerd, and movie buff. love nature and animals (i had the best good-boy puppers that ever lived for over 15 years). i have travelled the world, seen and done things that most couldn't imagine or believe. country boy at heart. drinking and laughing around a bonfire is a perfect evening for me. at heart, i'm a homebody but not antisocial. had one best friend for 33 years who has recently passed away. i realized that i'm just sitting here vegetating and gaining weight instead of living. great sense of humor; have been accused of being dark/twisted at times. i deeply believe that laughter simply makes life better. i broke my back in 2 places a while ago. after two surgeries and a lot of therapy, i get around well on my own, i just have to be real careful with my back.
