Sincere, honest guy looking for companionship I'm a 36-year-old grad student who is pursuing my Master of Architecture degree, and anxious to expand my social circle and perhaps meet a special somebody.

I have particularly strong interests in architecture and design, urban and transportation issues, progressive politics, music, movies, craft beers and cocktails, and travel (not necessarily in that order). I also enjoy long walks in the city, long road trips outside the city, and hiking in the mountains. Above all else, I enjoy time with my friends over a couple of beers and good conversation.

Cincinnati is my hometown, but I've also lived in a few other places including New York, Chicago, Philly, and Oregon. I've traveled to London and Paris as well as to many places within the US, and I love exploring new places.

I have a strong geek streak, and I'm most comfortable around people who are smart, funny, active in their community, and who possess a certain amount of emotional depth. (If your entire life revolves around video games and/or the fortunes of a particular sports team, then we probably aren't going to be a good match.) I've never been particularly good at making small talk, but I'm a great listener and I love having in-depth conversations with people I respect and admire. I do much better one-on-one than in large groups, and a tend to prefer a smaller circle of very close friends than a huge circle of friendly acquaintances.

I have mild Asperger's syndrome and sometimes deal with depression, but it doesn't define me as a person.
