I have Spina Bifida. I'm not in a wheelchair, walk w/a limp Hello, my name is Dan. I have a good sense of humor. Parties aren't my thing, as I'm fairly quiet & shy. But friends & family are very important to me, as they add comfort & companionship to my life. I usually live my life at a slower pace, & like to plan ahead so experiences can be truly appreciated. Money & material possessions aren't so important to me; being personally successful & happy is. I enjoy reading sci-fi fantasy- Tolkein & Brooks are two of my favorite authors. My favorite comic book characters are Spiderman & Batman. I also enjoy reading Garfield. I like playing softball, swimming, painting & photograpy. I like action, adventure, comedy, drama, & sci-fi movies, & enjoy watching 24 & Smallville. I like taking walks in nature. I like astronomy. I'm an animal lover, with a strong interest in sharks. I think it would be fun to go cage-diving with great white sharks. I enjoy spending time with family(parents, siblings, necies & nephews). I have a physical disability called Spina Bifida. I walk with a limp, & wear short-leg braces, which are covered by my pants. To be clear, I'm only physically-challenged. I have never let my disability take charge of my life. I'm a liberal Democrat. I would consider myself to be an honest, trustworthy, & dependable person. I'm looking for that special someone who has similiar interests, beliefs, & values that I have. I want a partner who is kind, supportive, & flexible - who has some of her own interests, but also shares some of mine - & can hold an intelligent conversation of a variety of subjects. Simple tastes & pleasure are more to my liking, than a woman who is sophisticated & assertive. I want a partner who is between 27-45 years old, is separated, divorced, or widowed, & who doesn't smoke, or have children. I want & need someone who can see & value me as I am, & not simply see my disability.
