Controlledchaos, 52

Living 1 day at a time I'm a bit shy at first but warm up pretty quick.My family and friends say I have a good sense of humor and personality, I know everyone's say that, so you'll have to see for yourself. I'm also very close with my family and friends and would do anything for them. For fun I'm usually going out with friends for dinner and a few drinks. I live in a small town so there's not a lot to do.I also enjoy old cars and hot rods. I've had my hands in part of the building of my car and can't think of many things better than the excitement and freedom of driving something you've designed and helped build. Music is also very important in my life, it's the one thing that can bring me up when I'm down. I'd like to find a woman that enjoys music as much as I do so we can hit a few concerts together and turn each other on to some new stuff. I live alone not counting my 2 dogs in an old farmhouse I remodeled. I live in the country but would love to live in or near a city someday. I graduated college with a BS of science in criminal justice but unfortunately I don't work in that field anymore.I have a type of muscular dystrophy that I was diagnosed with when I was 3. I have my bad day but I get along without any help.I'm very fortunate that I don't use any walking devices or have any special needs. I do have strength and mobility limitations but I work around any obstacles. My biggest problem and it seems to be what ends relationships is that I do have pain. Some days it can get bad but I always make it through. I need to find a strong woman that can deal with it happening sometimes.Most of the time I'm able to hide it so no one knows but sometimes it's impossible. I'm a romantic and enjoy spending a lot of time and being close to the woman I'm with.I'm also loyal and honest and want the same. I want to find someone with the same likes as me, someone that enjoys going out but also can stay at home together on the couch,isn't afraid of affection give and take and money isn't everything.
