I think kinda old fashioned because I was raised that way. I've been hands on and hard working all my life and proud of my accomplishments. That being said, I truly believe that it's not what knocks us down that matters but that you continue to get back up. I was diagnosed with Cauda Equina in 2021 and spent almost 2 years in a nursing home paralyzed from the waist down. After having done more than my fair share of damage to my body over the years and getting up after every fall and managing once again I walked out of that nursing home with a cane. I've since decided maybe it's time to slow down lol. I spent a lot of time alone with my (retired) service dog Jax and realized I just wanna enjoy life. I enjoy simple things. I speak my mind- sometimes to a fault. I think trust is just as important and powerful as love. Id like to meet a lady that's presence is enough to lose track of time for us both. Someone that I can talk to forever or just be content beside each other not saying a word. Maybe I'll never see that or just meet someone that's not interested. Will I find that all that ? I don't know but its time I atleast try looking
