Looking For Companionship, And More Being 54, and meeting someone, has actually gotten harder to do. My name is Brian and I'm disabled. Back in June, 1999, I had taken my niece and nephew roller skating. While coming around one of the rink corners, I spotted a little girl, about 3 years old, just standing up, rolling down into the rink, right in my line of skating. In an effort to avoid hitting her, I wiped out, injuring my spine (the L4 and L5 discs, the Sacrum, and the Coccygeal Vertebrae). After 4 major surgeries, and the L4 & L5 discs being fused together, I still ended up with permanent nerve damage from my waist to my toes. That is my disability, I deal with chronic pain on a daily basis due to nerve damage. Due to my disability, I do not work, but because I worked most of my life, my fixed income is enough to make ends meet each month. (more to come soon)
