A little over two years ago my kidneys failed due to diabetes and I quit working and went on dialysis. I had worked in social services for about 30 years and spent 10 years prior working at all kinds of odd jobs while trying to become a writer.
I now am free to write full-time and pursue my interest in photography. I do not define myself by my abilities or my disabilities. I am just me. Whoever that is.
I am independent and try not to let my disabilities interfere too much or dominate my life. I do not need anyone to care for me, though it would be good to meet someone who cares about me and has my back.
I am genuine,gentle, honest, kind, warm and loving. Good for a few laughs.
I have many varied interests and am open to sharing your interests and discovering new ones as well. I am self-educated and fairly well read. I enjoy good conversation on a wide variety of topics and issues.
