Not looking for casual sex, cheaters, dates, liars, love triangles, mind games, or one night stands. Looking for a companion who values the true meaning of friendship. Someone who is always there and stands behind you no matter how hard the difficulties you are challenged with. I do not date people who actively use drugs or abuse alcohol. I am fine if it was something you have done in the past but, I don't have any place in my life for people who still have an addiction. I value and respect truth and honesty above anything else. I would rather be told the truth, no matter how much it hurts, than have no trust in someone who has lied to me. In my opinion, trust is not something that is automatically given but, rather something which is gradually earned. If you can become good friends first, you know how well you can trust them. That is not meant to be mistaken that I am a abuser, criminal, or stalker. I am just selective about who I choose for friends because I've had a few of them steal from me in the past. I can be shy and guarded when I first get to know a person but, I open up and turn into a social butterfly when I get to know them more. I like to cook, go to celtic festivals, go to good restaurants, watch live concerts, have backyard cookouts, go to movies, read books, take walks at wildlife parks, watch TV shows, visit museums, walk around the mall. I write and play my own music on bass, keyboards, and guitar. I listen to ambient, alternative, classic rock, grunge, hard rock, heavy metal, instrumental, new age, pop, progressive, techno, and trance music. I like any kind of music but country, rap, musicals, or opera. My favorite movies and TV shows to watch are horror and science fiction but, I also like the crime channel, classic sitcoms and some drama. I would like to be friends with someone I can have a good conversation with and do things together. I am okay settling for just good comapanionship if that's all that comes out of it.
