Fun guy seeking girl with nice personality 18-35 Hi, well I'm non-disabled but fine with those that are disabled, particularly so in my case in fact; for reasons that will become apparent, so keep reading. I'm 6'4" tall, well built and strong, albeit with a bit of a gut I'm trying to get rid of, with big hands & feet, blue eyes, brown hair and a goatee beard; I only really have the latter because I think it improves my appearance, if you don't like it I could shave it off! I tend to dress in what I think is stylish but quite vintage or retro clothing, such as leather jackets. I have an enormous (and slightly quirky!) sense of humour. At present I'm at York College for the second time around, in the midst of doing a series of adult learning courses- maths and vehicle engineering, in preparation for becoming a mechanic. It's something I already do as a hobby (I've a classic car on my drive at home that I'm restoring) and that I can turn into a good career soon. I'm also doing some part-time stuff too. Up until this year however, and for something like seven years before that, I was the full-time main carer for my seriously ill and wheelchair-bound father who I looked after and assisted with just about everything, everywhere- including his kidney dialysis as an assistant nurse for the last few years, 24/7. So, let's just say I've plenty of experience living and working with disabled people and can have a genuinely sympathetic viewpoint. I assumed this would go on for years and I'd just carry on with my caring work for as long as it remained necessary. However, in August of this year, he was killed in a car accident; I am still recovering from the psychological shock of this, but it's better now. Anyway, what I'm looking for is someone of a pleasant personality, intelligent and of similar interests & sense of humour to myself (women only, am completely straight) who I can initially just be friends with, but that I can perhaps form a relationship with in time.
