Its soon approaching, only one month away, and this year it is to be held 200 miles off the coast of California. A huge barge will be well anchored to the bottom of the ocean so nobody has to fear the reoccurrence of last years disaster¦..guaranteed not to drift over the edge of the earth. Unfortunately we have had no luck in finding an insurance company that will insure the annual event, so its another come at your own risk the same as previous years, but I feel lucky this time so come one come all and have fun.
This year that long awaited walkway, extending from the deck of the barge, has been completed so folks can walk right out over the edge of the earth and look straight down into absolutely nothing.
For those more adventurous souls there will again be parachute jumping over the edge¦¦¦.a note on the jumping¦¦¦we are not sure where one will land, or when one will land, or how long the free fall will be, weve never heard back from anyone who has made a jump since we started the parachuting activity 10 years ago.
Again there will be rope ladders for the kids, and adults are welcome to use them as well, to climb down and view the bottom of the earth.
Tickets are free, and theres a special this year of 6 tickets for even freer and they can be order at the flat earth society webpage¦.so get them while theyre hot, and come early and avoid the rush
