Hang in there, the dark never lasts, it is followed by light. I have had similar problems. Usually, since my appearance is not quite so noticeable (check my profile) , I don't get the stand-off treatment until deeper into what ever I wanted to do. So it was exasperating. My wife, having had polio, then PPS, faced a similar problem. Wanting so bad to not need braces, she devised a way of walking to not need them. She walked a bit unusual, and so that was what brought on problems.
With both of us being as we were (and meeting on an early form of the internet in '91), we ending up sticking together and getting married.
That may have not been possible without a wide ranging means of people being able to meet -- like this place.
So you are here now. We can all gang up and so not be so affected by the others.

`Nobody seems to come on here but that's o.k. maybe it helps to put it out there. Been disabled a long time 1990 t-11 sci Thought I had worked through all of this stuff. Just been longing to go for a walk as of late, and a lot of other stuff..expecially the lonliness. The kind where you wish you could talk to someone that understands. Just feels like I am too tired to deal with it anymore. Anyways hope this depression will go away in a week or two.
