hi pamela, seems you r almost in the same boat as me with the ICD and heart disease. That part is new to me, only was diagnosed last year. I find my degenerative disks more of a challenge for getting around. Im not sure if my heart problems contribute to my disability much. Still trying to sort it all out if i cannot do something without assistance i simply hop onto the rascal or wheelchair to help me. never give up, never say i can't, fight on the best you can and be happy you can at least do that. plenty of people who can't do what we do everyday, so i figure we're lucky....just not as lucky as we used to be. :)

As with all things you get out what you put in.
I am new to the site and know very little about it but its an experiment. If nothing comes of it thats ok. Previously helthy I have slid into disability and only officially classed as such for a couple of years because I didnt want to admit it. As for attitude, it is so easy to blame everything on others rather than admit to a situation, this isnt a good thing but I guess every disabled person has done it sometime or other.
Fortunately I was always outgoing and when I am comfortable I am happy to stir people into a bit of fun or a laugh. Most people like what I do, some dont but however they feel they always know when I'm about, lol!
I'm not desperate for contact but dont ignore people either. I will be about but this isnt my life so by all means contact me if you like. Just remember that I always tell the truth and rarely pull punches, sometimes I say things people dont like but thats themproblem with honesty.
