Help with the IM, please

This may sound silly, but can someone tell me how to use the IM? I go to the chat room (lobby) and i don't see a place to type. : :

I have the same problem.
We are told to increase our desktop size to be able to see the text box but when I do my computer cant take it,.
It flickers ect so I cant change my resoloution.

Anyone know how to solve the problem?

I so wanted to get into chat as well.

We believe we identified the problem with the chat window.

While most members could access it without difficulty, some would only see portions of the window.

Without boring you with details, it did have to do with screen resolution.

We've modified the chat window to adapt to each person's screen resolution, so you should not have problems with this anymore.

`Cannot magnify the very tiny print there. Also the instructions are missing... how to change forums and 'leave' or 'join' ( lobby seems to be automatic join) cannot bring up a 'leave' or 'join' icon . I had to do hit and miss which upset some rowdy kids there.
I am leery of trying stuff since it may suddenly bring up a "UPGRADE NOW FOR $39.95 !" with no bail out box to click on.

`The program is not really made in a way that allows the magnification of print. It's not accessible in that way. you don't leave forums you leave rooms, so if you want to go to the lobby, you click either join in the lobby section or leave in the room you are already in. if you want to watch someone video cam, then you click their name and add their face to your dock, so on and so fourth.
