Finding wheelchair adapted housing on fixed income

Hi:

I live in Lincoln, Nebraska and am finding out that finding an apaerment that is wheelchair accesible is next to impossible. I am married (she is disabled - not in a wheelchair) and finding rent adjusted apartments of any kind (1 or 2 bedrooms) is impossible. I have tried several housing authorities, religious societies and other agencies that have subsidized housing. [u][b]NO LUCK![/b][/u]

We are on SSI and make barely over $900 month and we are being kicked out due to the fact that our home is being foreclosed on and we'll have no home. The City Mission told us we are going to be separated and my service dog will have to be borded out. I have toiletry duties that I need help with and they cannot accomadate us.

We ahve been together for 25 years now and don't want to be separated! Anyone have ANY ideas? :

`sorry, 2 hear ur flight,i dont know about nebraska,but down in jax,fl...service animals can go any where,buses,hospitals etc. may be they r lyin 2 yall u need 2 check in 2 that,there r laws 2 protect the disable. n make sure that ur dog is wash n clean from fleas
