Perhaps this site is dead?

Hardly anyone uses forums. Profiles haven't logged in over 3 months. No one answers emails even the ones that say "I'm looking for chat".

I'm alone practically 24/7 I was hoping a site like this might be an outlet, a place to make a connection. Its hard enough trying all that with people that have no clue what its like to live with a disability.

I think I'm gonna burst if I don't talk to someone. ;/

Well, the site isn't dead, although you couldn't tell by the activity in the forums. We've been trying to come up with some ways to encourage more activity among the members logging in everyday.

The most recent additions to the site are listed on the homepage, and one of the newest is the forum system added into the account management area. Basically, it allows members to see and comment on forum posts right when they login...as opposed to having to go to the forum and open up the posts to see what people are saying.

We've added some other new features recently too. One is to limit the ability of members to spam other members, and the other new feature is the 'Gifting' area (which is still in development).

If you don't see enough activity on this site to keep you busy, don't forget that there are over 100 sites in the network, and other sites are more active. You don't have to limit yourself to Disabled Passions just because you are dealing with a disability. Feel free to spend time on any site in your account, and maybe you'll make some new friends in other areas of the network.
