I have suffered with depression issues my entire life. There is no medication that helps with it either.

Does anyone else out there have the same problem as me?

I have had the same issssues. I have tried many different medications. They work until something major happens and then I'm flat on my butt again. Your welcome to contact me about it if you would like to talk. Dixie

I have been depressed most of my life.Money seems to help, they say it
dont but they dont know where to shop . The " medical community" is
more helpfull now, they were lost as we were . The book "the road less traveled " helped me. Helping others has helped me, watch out for
Vampires. Fishing helped drinkin didn't . The well of depression is full
of answers.Religon helped , found more practical help in the Eastern
religons but more love in the western. The answer is in the fight for your
self.Find FRIENDS .join a sunday school class ,bluegrass band, book club
live NOW. another bppk The Prophet . by Khalil Gibran. helped me also

I have had 2 breakdown, both because my then hubby, cheated on me. the best meds I found was Effexor XR. I took 300mg daily, aroma therapy.
now I am on Wellbrutin 300mg and still doing thee aroma therapy but I have decided to stop wallowing in the depression and to think positive. slowly buy surely i am getting better and it has only been 1 year.
I dont mention it because people see me as a freak because of the stigma of mental ilness carries.

Supposedly I've been depressed my entire life but I think I was just severely misunderstood. I have other physical things that weren't correctly diagnosed till I was an adult (very long complicated story) Anyways about 7 years ago I was going true stuff & frustration & I broke down & was given a diagnoses of sever depression, possibly psychotic. I tried lots of meds, saw other specialist, had some concealing, & I've been given quite a few contradictory diagnosis. I kept having problems while I was on meds. I would feel OK for a while but then I'd start feeling bad again or a med would need to be changed cuz of side-effects ect. I quit all the docs & meds over a year ago due to frustration, cost ect. I felt much better after I was off em for a while. I haven't had a relapse sense it got out of my system. I've talked to other people a lot online about things & researched a lot while I was going true everything & I think if I would of known then what I know now; I would never had started meds. Meds may have helped hold me together but they did NOT teach me how to overcome things. I had to learn how to deal & accept myself to get better. Meds can actually sometimes make people more depressed & cause other problems. Finding people online & in a support group offline who wer also dealing with things & who seemed to care & connect with me helped me realize I wasn't the screwed-up worthless loser I felt like I was. If anyone here wants to talk about anything; Please message me

`I've dealt with depression since I was 17. I'm now 32 and I'm doing much better. I'm on a new medication and it really helps.
