Everything changed the very day I went from being a professional
too having a disease. My family except my mom made me feel unwanted. Here just days before they all wanted too be around me. But, do too having a disease that I can not possibly control I am isolated. I feel if family going too be this way why not everyone. Well I was right. I live in a small town and you know how small towns are, once someone knows about you everyone does. So no one will be my friend not alone trying too find a man too date. On other date sites the mention of the disorder I have makes all of them run the other way. I am 48 years old, going too be 49 in November I live in Merrill Mi about 30 minutes away from saginaw or midland MI. In the middle of know were. I feel like I don't deserve too be alone but basically not having any choice in the matter. Do too the fact I worked as a nurse my disability check is enough to support myself and my 17 year old. I say really I do pretty darn good for a woman on her own. But all people see or hear is my disease and not about me. Me as a person, as a passionate person that suffers with isolation. I feel I will never have the chance too find a man and that I will totally be alone until the day I die. If your like me, please feel free too email me.

`Hi, Michelle: Many times, isolation is a conditioned response. I'm sure you play a lot of internal dialogue of others' comments in your head; I know, I've done the same. A time must arrive when you tell those looped memories to just Shut Up. They rob you of your power. Isolation and loneliness can turn into an emotional addiction. It can become your 'comfort zone', that is, you know what to expect when alone, and being in a social environment becomes awkward and uncomfortable. You need to get back into the 'game.' You knew when you studied to become a nurse that your work would be your love made visible. Show and tell can help others to get the point. Show others what they are missing out on, especially you, the fantastic. You now have inside information that no one should be alone and afraid. Give yourself that permission to share your knowledge and experience with others through volunteer efforts at hospitals, churches, support groups, even CASA for the kids. You can offer something that others can look forward to. It might turn into other opportunities. Who's afraid of the big, bad jackass? Don't let haters get you down. -- Orphan Thing

`I am very sorry that happened to you Michelle. I am lonely too. I don't get out much cause I have chronic pain and nausea. I have a condition called cerebral palsy so i know that life can be tough. Don't give up hope. You will find someone. Can we be friends?
