Been on this site now many months,& the one thing that I have found is doing my head in. It is like a giant maze on here, there are way too many passions sites for anyone to actually meet any one,you could spend months going from site to site with people missing each other all the time. The other thing is; every time i punch up whose online it comes up with 6 and all from the U.S.A. where are the U.K. folks at?? yet they tell me there are many thousands of disabled people on this site???? where are you all. please tell me where i am going wrong thanx Roy

Belated welcome to the site.
A few things about your post caught our attention, and we thought we'd comment.
First, you have only been a member for a little over 1 month, so things are quite as bad as you seem to think.
While there are lots of sites in the network, it isn't really a maze. You choose the sites that match your interests, so if you are overwhelmed by the number of sites you have added into your account...just limit the number to 3-5. Once you are more comfortable with how things work, you could increase the number of sites (and people you would have access to).
All email is accessible within whatever site you are on, so you don't have to login in and out of different sites in order to contact members or be contacted by other members.
You can run a search on any site...and restrict the results to 1) the site you are on 2) all sites in your account 3) all sites in the network (although if you do that, you are highly likely to find lots of people who are not on sites that you are a member of).
Lastly, we definitely have more U.S. members than U.K. members, but little by little, we are seeing U.K. membership increase.
Thanks,
.

`It's cause no one ever posts on the forums at least, not in the disabilities section. Plus there's a glitch with the email where you will be notified but there won't be anything in your inbox. It becomes a problem if you forget to ask someone to resend the email.

`Hi, It could well be that few people post. But If there is activity here I sure will post, even if surrounded by pirates and werewolves, 'arr har'.
I was having what may well be end-of-a-long-line turnaround time that was making me wonder what was going on. I am here after my local midnight and now I am seeing normal operation. So now I can reply and know that I did.
