Hi all,
I'm new around here, so feel free to introduce yourselves. I love to write/be written to, and I'm certain I will soon be addicted to your forums. This has happened before!
Anyway, I was watching MSNBC yesterday. One of their feature stories involved a woman using a scooter who filched another lady's purse. The bag reportedly contained $800.
A commentator noted that she had "hoped the woman would be a Good Samaritan" and simply hand off the pocketbook to its owner. Like every other theif, she was caught on tape, and busted.
I was absolutely beside myself. Really, I still don't know what to think of it. Ok, first of all, there is no way she would have made MSNBC's lineup if she hadn't been in that scooter (Though MSNBC is well known for covering dumber stories - they've been telling me it's Memorial Day weekend for 48 hours straight).
I could say more, but I'd rather not, unless/until someone else wants to comment - grrrrr!
